Invite Week
Reminder: Club time is designed to last 25-30 min. If your Club has less time, adapt the guide to best fit what your Club specifically needs. Use the Holy Spirit’s guidance to discern what is best to cover during the time you have.
Resources Needed: Response Cards
Verses to have ready: John 3:16. For Gospel Presentation: Romans 3:23: 6:23a: Romans 6:23b: Romans 5:8: Romans 10:9: and Romans 10:13.
Tip: Remind your speaker for the week to leave 5 minutes at the end of Club for Response Time. This is a special moment for students to respond to the Gospel message they heard during Club. (Remember to follow up with any students, especially those who accepted Christ for the first time!)
It is always helpful to have an experienced Student Leader or Campus Coach talk through and look over a Speaker’s Story before sharing. This helps make sure the Speaker is prepared and confident – and sharing the right things. What are the right things? 1. Bringing glory to Jesus rather than emphasizing sin. 2. Emphasizing the Grace we have in Jesus rather than following religion and rules.
Key Takeaway: God created you with love and purpose, but sin has created a separation between us and God. The good news is that Jesus came to fix that by dying for our sins and rising again, offering us forgiveness and eternal life. By believing in Him and accepting His gift of grace, we can have a fresh start and a restored relationship with God.
Student Leader Roles:
- Promo – Promote the Club through social media, announcements, and any other outlets the school allows.

- Speaker – Lead the Club through Tool Time, and Dig In, using the EPIC Guide, and any supporting materials.
- Follow up – Follow up with new (or newer) students, and students who accepted Christ for the first time or want to know more. This role requires follow-up every week, not just after INVITE Weeks.

STUDENT SHARES THEIR STORY | 5-10 MINUTES
SPEAKER | GOSPEL PRESENTATION – 5 MINUTES
Have you ever felt like you were carrying a weight—maybe guilt, regret, or just the feeling that something is missing in life? If so, you’re not alone. We’ve all been there. And the good news is, there’s a solution. Let me explain.
God’s Love and Purpose
Let’s start with this: God loves you. You were created on purpose and for a purpose. The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
God made you to have a relationship with Him, to experience His love, and to live a life full of meaning. But there’s a problem—something that gets in the way of that relationship.
The Problem of Sin
Here’s the problem: it’s called sin. Sin is anything we do that goes against God’s Way—things like lying, cheating, hurting others, or even just being selfish. The Bible says in Romans 3:23, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” That means every single one of us has messed up.
And sin has consequences. Romans 6:23 tells us, “The wages of sin is death.” In other words, sin separates us from God, both now and forever. It’s like a giant wall between us and God that we can’t tear down on our own. But here’s the amazing part: God didn’t leave us stuck. He made a way for that wall to come down.
The Solution: Jesus Christ
This is where the best news comes in. God loves you so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to fix the problem of sin. Jesus lived a perfect, sinless life, and then He did something incredible: He took the punishment for our sins by dying on the cross. He didn’t deserve it, but He did it for us because He loves us.
But that’s not the end of the story. Three days after Jesus died, He rose from the dead! He proved that He has power over sin and death. Because of what Jesus did, we can be forgiven and have a relationship with God. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
How to Respond: So, what does this mean for you? It means you can have a fresh start. You don’t have to carry the weight of guilt or regret anymore. Jesus offers forgiveness and eternal life as a free gift. But like any gift, you have to accept it.
The Bible says in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” It’s that simple. Admit that you’ve sinned, believe that Jesus died and rose for you, and commit to following Him. That’s it.
(intro to response time)
Conclusion: So here’s my question for you: What will you do with this news? Maybe you’ve heard it before, or maybe this is the first time. Either way, Jesus is offering you the chance to start fresh today. He loves you and wants a relationship with you.
If you’re ready to take that step, you can do it right now. It’s as simple as a prayer.
If you feel God tugging at your heart to follow Him, say this prayer with me.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and fallen short of your glory. I believe you died for my sins and rose to bring me eternal life. I open my heart to you now and ask you to cleanse me, renew me, and lead me. I give you my life and trust you as my Savior and Lord. Thank you for your love. Amen.
If you prayed or want to know more, talk to me or a leader here. We’d love to help you take your next steps. Thanks for letting me share this amazing news with you today!
RESPONSE TIME | 5 MINUTES
Before we leave today, our Student Leaders are going to pass out Response Cards for you to fill out. If you related to or felt moved today, please take a moment to fill out a Response Card. As you will see on the cards there are 5 boxes asking about your response to today’s Club.
The first box ‘Today I trusted in Jesus for the first time.’ This is if you made the decision to follow Christ and put Him first in your life for the first time.
The second box ‘Today I reaffirmed my faith in Jesus.’ This is if maybe you made the decision to follow Christ in the past, but have fallen short and got caught up in sin for a while and you want to recommit your life to Christ.
The third box ‘I would like more information about the Gospel.’ This is to let us know that you would like to dive deeper into the Gospel of Christ and the calling that the Lord has for your life. We would love to connect with each of you on this level.
The fourth box ‘I have already trusted in Jesus before today.” This is maybe for those of you who are already walking with Christ and have made the decision to follow Him wholeheartedly. If this is you, we still want to connect with you and walk alongside you. We hope that you continue to come to Club and join this Faith Community as we connect with each other through the Gospel.
The last box is for anyone who is not interested in what you heard today in Club. If this is you, we want to encourage you and let you know that no matter your beliefs or place in life, you are still welcome and wanted here. We love having each and every one of you. There is space here for everyone no matter where you are on your walk with Christ, even if you may not be walking with Christ yet.
As you finish filling out your card, we want to thank each of you for joining us today and we cannot wait to connect with you and see you next week! Let’s take a moment to pray together and then we will discuss any announcements…
Let’s close in prayer.
Closing Prayer suggestion: Heavenly Father, we are so grateful for the opportunity to gather in your name and share the ways you have worked in our lives. If someone felt the tug of your Spirit, give them the courage to seek you fully. And Lord, we also lift up those who were not here but need to hear of your grace and love—bring them into this space next time, so that they may be blessed by your truth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
HOST | ANNOUNCEMENTS – 1 MINUTE
(This is the place for the Club to make any announcements for the upcoming week and or month)
We loved having you today! If it was your first time and you’re curious about what First Priority is like on a weekly basis, come back next week for CONNECT Week. It’s the perfect time to meet others, get plugged in, and grow in what God has for you.
Leader Notes:
- Remember to file the report on this week’s Club numbers!
- This is a great spot to add Student Leaders to your team and give responsibilities to them. It is also the place to check on the upcoming school schedule for days off or breaks (your Faculty Sponsor is a great resource for this).
FOLLOW UP: Collect all Response Cards and sort them before leaving the room after Club. Follow-up is key and can be urgent for a new believer. If there is no time for the team to sort them, have a Student Leader take them and sort them within the next few hours (Do not do this during class time when you should be working or paying attention!). Send the name of each person who made a decision to the person who brought them or another friend so they can follow up appropriately. Make a plan to review and pray over them with your Campus Coach and Adult Leaders. Plan to connect soon with any students who had questions or made a decision – you want them to know that they are important to you.
See the Follow-Up Guide on www.firstpriority.club/resources for more details.
Prepare for CONNECT Week: Who will be responsible for the areas listed in the First Priority Club app (or the planning guide at the beginning of this month?
