Cleanup and Reset

Warning

This feature is designed to be done only once a year during the Summer. This process is permanent and cannot be undone. Please read each step carefully.

The Cleanup and Reset feature in the First Priority Club app is an excellent tool for resetting the app and returning all data points to their default position. Below, we will walk you through each option and discuss what it means.

1) Open the menu

To find this screen, click the three-dot menu at the top right corner of your desktop. Or, on your phone, click on the “three lines” menu on the left side of your screen.

2) Click on Settings

After you have opened the menu, click on “Settings.”

3) Click on Cleanup & Reset

Scroll down until you see “Cleanup & Reset” at the bottom of your screen.

4) Read carefully and check the appropriate boxes

Each description is defined in the app and describes how it will operate. Our recommendation is to check all boxes.

  • Expire active students – Every active student in your area will be moved to the “expired” section of the app. Each student can reconfirm their school the next time they log in or select a new school if they have moved.
  • Delete pending users – Any pending user that is listed will be deleted. Their data will not be stored. When they open the app again, they will be prompted to sign up again as a new user.
  • Graduate students – Any student who has graduated in the current school year will be moved to the Alumni tab in the app. They will be required to request a new membership if they open the app later.
  • Reset Resources – This will clear out all resources from your active resource panel. Note: If you have added custom resources, you will need to add them again. All new resources can be reloaded from the catalog.
  • Reset school year metrics – Metrics and data will be reset but not deleted. Historical metrics remain in the app forever, and new metrics will be presented based on the current school year.

5) Turn the “I’ve reviewed these actions” toggle at the bottom of the list

If you turn this toggle on and then make any changes to the checkmarks above, you will need to turn the toggle back on, as it will automatically turn off to prevent errors.

6) Click “Reset”

You’re done and ready for a new school year!
