Send announcement to one club (push notification)

In this article, we will explore a simple option for sending an announcement (push notification) to one club. This is a great option if you want to encourage or remind that group of students and volunteers.

1) Click on the upcoming club meeting for the club you are sending a message to

First, make sure you have selected “My FP” in the toolbar menu.

Then click on the next meeting associated with the club to which you are trying to send a message.

2) Click “Send announcement”

Clicking on the blue “Send announcement” button inside of a meeting will only send an announcement to the students and volunteers who are verified users in that club.

3) Type your announcement

Once you click “Send announcement,” you will be shown a new window with a text box and options to change how the message looks. You can use bold text, add bullet points, or even send a link.

4) Send message

Once you have typed your message, you can click “Send.”
