WHAT WE DO WITH JESUS

Invite Week

Reminder: Club time is designed to last 25-30 min. If your Club has less time, adapt the EPIC Guide to best fit what your Club specifically needs. Use the Holy Spirit’s guidance to discern what is best to cover during the time you have.

Resources Needed: Response Cards

Verses to have ready: John 14:6.

Tip: Remind your speaker for the week to leave 5 minutes at the end of Club for Response Time. This is a special moment for students to respond to the Gospel message they heard during Club.

(Remember to follow up with any students, especially those who accepted Christ for the first time!)

It is always helpful to have an experienced Student Leader or Campus Coach talk through and look over a Speaker’s Story before sharing. This helps make sure the Speaker is prepared and confident – and sharing the right things. What are the right things? 1. Bringing glory to Jesus rather than emphasizing sin. 2. Emphasizing the grace we have in Jesus rather than following religion and rules.

Key Takeaway: No matter where you are in life, God is the Author of your story. Though mistakes and brokenness may feel like torn-out pages, Jesus came to restore and rewrite your story with His love, grace, and forgiveness. By accepting Jesus into your heart and trusting Him as your Savior, God can transform your life, bringing peace, purpose, and eternal joy. Will you let God guide the next chapter of your story?

STUDENT SHARES THEIR STORY | 5-10 MINUTES

SPEAKER | GOSPEL PRESENTATION – 5 MINUTES

Today, I want to share with you a special message about the love of God and how it can change our lives. To help us understand this, let’s reflect on our own lives for a moment.

Imagine your life as a story being written. Each experience, dream, or struggle represents a chapter in your story. But sometimes, our stories feel incomplete—like something is missing or broken. We try to make sense of it all, but we still feel lost or confused.

Now, imagine an author who knows every detail of your story and how it’s meant to unfold. That author is God. You see, God created each one of us with a purpose, and He knows the beautiful plan He has for our lives.

But here’s the problem: every one of us has made mistakes—wrong choices that separate us from God. These mistakes are like torn-out pages in our story. No matter how hard we try, we can’t rewrite those pages on our own. We need help to restore our story.

That’s where Jesus comes in. God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus, to bridge the gap between us and Him. Jesus lived a perfect life—a life without mistakes or missing pieces. He willingly took the punishment for our mistakes by dying on the cross. But that wasn’t the end of the story! Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death and offering us the chance to be reconciled with God.

So how do we let God rewrite our story? It starts with a simple decision: accepting Jesus into our hearts. When we believe in Him, ask for forgiveness, and invite Him to be the Lord of our lives, something amazing happens. God begins to rewrite our story—restoring what was broken, healing what was hurt, and giving us hope for the future.

Life may not be perfect, but with Jesus by our side, we can trust the Author of our story to guide us through every twist and turn. He fills the gaps in our lives with His love, grace, and forgiveness, and we can find peace in knowing we are never alone.

So, my friends, today I want to encourage you to consider this incredible gift that God offers. If you haven’t accepted Jesus into your heart, I invite you to do so today. And for those who have, let’s continue to trust God as the Author of our lives, letting Him lead us step by step.

Remember, no matter how incomplete or broken your story may feel, God’s love has the power to transform your life and bring you peace, purpose, and eternal joy. Will you let Him write the next chapter of your story?

If you have felt God tugging at your heart for a while, or maybe what you heard today has you ready to jump in and allow God to be the Lord of your life and accept Jesus as your Savior, pray this simple prayer with me.

Prayer:
Father God, I come to you in repentance, knowing I have sinned. I believe in Jesus, who died for my sins and rose again to give me New Life. I ask for your forgiveness and invite you into my heart to lead me. Help me to live in obedience to you and trust in your love. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

RESPONSE TIME | 5 MINUTES

Before we leave today, our Student Leaders are going to pass out Response Cards for you to fill out. If you related to or felt moved today, please take a moment to fill out a Response Card. As you will see on the cards there are 5 boxes asking about your response to today’s Club.

The first box ‘Today I trusted in Jesus for the first time.’ This is if you made the decision to follow Christ and put Him first in your life for the first time.

The second box ‘Today I reaffirmed my faith in Jesus.’ This is if maybe you made the decision to follow Christ in the past, but have fallen short and got caught up in sin for a while and you want to recommit your life to Christ.

The third box ‘I would like more information about the Gospel.’ This is to let us know that you would like to dive deeper into the Gospel of Christ and the calling that the Lord has for your life. We would love to connect with each of you on this level.

The fourth box ‘I have already trusted in Jesus before today.” This is maybe for those of you who are already walking with Christ and have made the decision to follow Him wholeheartedly. If this is you, we still want to connect with you and walk alongside you. We hope that you continue to come to Club and join this Faith Community as we connect with each other through the Gospel.

The last box is for anyone who is not interested in what you heard today in Club. If this is you, we want to encourage you and let you know that no matter your beliefs or place in life, you are still welcome and wanted here. We love having each and every one of you. There is space here for everyone no matter where you are on your walk with Christ, even if you may not be walking with Christ yet.

As you finish filling out your card, we want to thank each of you for joining us today and we cannot wait to connect with you and see you next week! Let’s take a moment to pray together and then we will discuss any announcements…

Let’s close in prayer.

Closing Prayer suggestion: Heavenly Father, we are so blessed to know you and to have had this time to share your love with one another. If someone here felt you calling them, may they seek you without hesitation. And Lord, for those who weren’t here but need to hear the hope and salvation you offer, make a way for them to join us next time. Amen.

HOST | ANNOUNCEMENTS – 1 MINUTE

(This is the place for the Club to make any announcements for the upcoming week and or month)

If it was your first time today, we’d love for you to come back next week for Connect Week! It’s the best way to see what First Priority is like each week, meet new friends, and grow in faith.

Leader Notes: Remember to file the report on this week’s Club numbers!

This is a great spot to add Student Leaders to your team and give responsibilities to them. It is also the place to check on the upcoming school schedule for days off or breaks (your Faculty Sponsor is a great resource for this).

FOLLOW UP: Collect all Response Cards and sort them before leaving the room after Club. Follow-up is key and can be urgent for a New Believer. If there is no time for the team to sort them, have a Student Leader take them and sort them within the next few hours. Send the name of each person who made a decision to the person who brought them or another friend so they can follow up appropriately. Plan to connect soon with any students who had questions or made a decision – you want them to know that they are important to you.

See the Follow-Up Guide on www.firstpriority.club/resources for more details.

Prepare for CONNECT Week: Who will be responsible for the areas listed in the First Priority Club app?
